최원철 특임교수는 한양대학교에서 건축공학과 학사, 석사, 박사를 취득하였고, 전공은 건설관리이다. 그는 22년간 대우건설에서 근무하였고, 대형 프로젝트파인낸싱 프로젝트를 담당했었다.

예를들면, 세빛섬, DMC 랜드마크(133층), 한류월드, 청라 국제업무지구 등이 있다. 그는 한국부동 산개발협회의 공공개발 협력단장도 겸임하고 있다. 또한 약 20여개의 정부 및 지자체 자문위원으로도 참여하고있다. 그는 현재 호텔사업, 오피스사업, 주택사업, 상업시설, 테마파크, 신도시개발, 미래형 부동산개발 등의 자문 및 강연을 하고 있다.

Prof. Won-cheol Choi graduated from Hanyang Univ.’s Architectural Engineering Department, and Received both his Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Construction Management from Hanyang Univ. He has worked over 22 years at Daewoo Engineering & Construction Company of Korea Leading Construction Company. He has taken charge of big Project Financing Projects, for example, Floating Island (Se Vit Seom), DMC Landmark Tower (133 floor), Hanryuworld themepark, Cheongla IBC etc.

He is head of Korea Development Association for public development cooperation. He also has participated in over 20 central and localgovernment advisory commissions. He is consultant and lecturer for Real Estate Development of Hotel, Office, Commercial, Themepark, New Town, Future Development etc.
